Research and analyze historical data and develop intermediate cost/price models to support proposal efforts. Coordinate with the capture and/or proposal teams in performing market analysis, competitive supplier evaluation and make/buy selections and the implementation of business strategies. Coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments. Report on progress, metrics, and issues for proposal efforts to management team. Compiles cost and price elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. Support other duties as assigned.

Performs competitive analysis, provides business case modeling, develops bid pricing strategy, supports basis of estimate (BOE) development, and interfaces with management, technical staff, and support personnel. Provides capture and proposal review support. Ensures proposal compliance with organizational, corporate, and federal procurement policies and regulations. Develops and implements new and innovative pricing models and reviews and improves upon existing pricing templates. Writes compliant and compelling cost/price narrative responses.

Under direction of Sr. Staff develops narrative outlines. Performs data gathering tasks based on explicit instructions for salary survey and market data. Performs data entry. May aid in coordinating deliverable schedules and meetings. Takes notes.
